A pendant in oxidised sterling silver — my signature ribbed Knot, with a large aquamarine matrix cabochon hanging beneath it.
Aquamarine matrix retains the host rock alongside the stone, so no two are alike. This one moves between translucent and opaque across its surface — clear watery blue in places, milky and mineral in others. The internal structure is visible, like looking into shallow water above a rocky bed.
