For this project my client set me a very free brief; a statement ring that complemented others in her collection, using the greygreens and blues we both love.
I presented my client with a selection of outstanding, unique tourmaline cabochons that I thought could create a really impactful design.
Knowing her love of bold scale, colour and mixed metals, ideas began to form of a double stone ring with open-backed settings to allow maximum light through these beautifully hued gems.
I made a series of models to establish the exact placement of the stones and then set about handcrafting the final ring in 18ct gold and silver
