Modernist gemstone jewellery that reflects your personality
If a piece of jewellery could encapsulate who you really are, what would it look like?
This is what we discover together as we work on a bespoke jewellery design together. My clients are all one-offs, like my jewellery, but they do have quite a lot in common!
Does this sound like you?
Do you have a strong sense of style?
Do you appreciate thoughtful design and craftsmanship?
Do you love seeking out unique things that reflect your personal taste?
Bespoke jewellery design is all about you – and translating your unique style into a one-off design.
I love spending time discovering what makes you tick and develop designs for you, as we get to know each other through the commissioning process. Find out more.
In my clients’ words
“Just to let you know I love my earrings! They have a very happy feeling. Be sure they will be worn often and with much pleasure.”
“I love my ring! I wear it every day, it is a perfect fit, and I get lots of comments.”
“The earrings are absolutely stunning and look amazing with the necklace. Half of me can’t wait to wear them, and half of me, bizarrely, would quite like to frame them on a black background and hang them on the wall to admire as a piece of art.”
Design and style inspiration
Luxurious simplicity and unexpected combinations of gems characterise my work. Inspired by mid-century design and architecture, my designs are sleek, colourful and distinctive.
Forms are pared-back to enable the natural qualities of the gemstones to shine. In particular I specialise in moonstones which offer a great contrast to bright fire opals, sapphires and tourmalines.
Skillful combinations of opaque with translucent, dark with bright, bring an understated glamour to my designs.
Each piece is designed and made in the London Studio – Find out more about the making process.
I live and work in London, where I grew up, establishing my own workshop in 2002 within Cockpit Arts Small Business Incubator in Deptford, South East London. I completed my jewellery training at Birmingham School of Jewellery and latterly an MA at the prestigious Central St. Martins.
Cockpit Arts is a workspace supporting extraordinary craftspeople making work in the UK. As an award winning social enterprise, it is the UK’s only creative-business incubator for designer-makers. “Fostering some of London’s most exciting creative talent.” – Vogue
